High School Math Ends Where Real Mathematics Begins

Many students think that high school Calculus is the end of mathematics. In reality, it is just the starting point for the beautiful and exciting world of advanced mathematics.

Our College Mathematics camp introduces the student to four of the major areas of college-level mathematics that await them after high school.

  • True intellectual exposure: Experience the real structure of college-level mathematics before declaring a major.

  • See how math connects to science: Understand how multivariate calculus, linear algebra, differential equations, and tensors describe the physical world, engineering, and data systems.

  • Learn from a Mathematical Physicist: Guided by Dr. Brian Saltzer, who translates abstract ideas into intuitive understanding.

  • Inspire academic purpose: Help your student discover whether mathematics, physics, or engineering could be their true path.

We don’t guarantee specific placement, but students finish much more prepared to perform well on college diagnostics.

Explore the Mathematics Behind Modern Science and Technology

This course is not about review it’s about discovery and depth. Students explore the mathematical tools that drive modern research and technology, guided step-by-step through key ideas that form the backbone of higher mathematics

Students Will Explore:

Multivariable Calculus — understanding change and geometry in three or more dimensions.

Differential Equations — modeling how systems evolve in nature, physics, and engineering.

Linear Algebra — uncovering how matrices, vectors, and transformations form the core of computation and machine learning.

Tensor Analysis — seeing how multidimensional math explains space, forces, and modern physics.

Students leave with a new appreciation for how mathematics connects every branch of science and insight into whether advanced math study may be their future.

Learn Through Exploration, Visualization, and Deep Discussion

This program blends conceptual lectures, visual demonstrations, and guided discussions to make abstract math ideas intuitive. Students interact directly with the instructor to see how mathematical reasoning builds from simple logic to multidimensional insight.

Students will:

  • Analyze mathematical structures through guided examples and visual models.

  • Engage in thought experiments that connect math to physics and engineering.

  • Discuss the philosophical side of mathematics what does “understanding” mean at this level?

  • Learn to read and think like a mathematician, not just solve for x.

Outcome: By the end of the month, students will have gained exposure to college-level mathematical frameworks, developed higher-order reasoning skills, and gained clarity about whether a Math or Physics major aligns with their intellectual passion.

Perfect for Advanced 10th–12th Graders Exploring College-Level Mathematics

Ideal for students who:

  • Excel in math and want to go beyond the high school curriculum to see what real college-level mathematics is like.

  • Plan to pursue majors such as Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or Data Science and want early exposure to advanced topics.

  • Enjoy abstract thinking and problem-solving — understanding the “why” behind formulas, not just how to use them.

  • Seek intellectual challenge and inspiration before committing to a math-heavy college major.
